В статье рассказывается о крупном специалисте по городскому зеленому строительству Л.О. Машинском, который принимал активное участие в строительстве Главного ботанического сада АН СССР, а также о членах его семьи, связавших свою жизнь с озеленением городов и космической биологией.

The article tells about L.O. Mashinsky, a major specialist in urban green construction, who took an active part in the construction of the Main Botanical Garden of the USSR Academy of Sciences, as well as about his family members who connected their lives with urban landscaping and space biology.
